Welcome to Dalegarth
The cottage has been family designed, created and managed since 1980 by David and Susan Lusted, resident at Dalegarth. Comfort and convenience are paramount in any cottage and we always strive to attain the highest standards; listening and learning from our Guests has helped us to ensure their expectations and satisfaction. We believe this is reflected in the high percentage of returning guests – for which we are very grateful.

'Dalegarth' is set in a former Victorian walled kitchen garden. The ‘upside down’ cottage is warm, cosy yet spacious and essentially welcoming.

On the ground floor: a house bathroom, with sauna room; and a twin-bedded room, from which a door leads out onto a patio, giving direct access to the secluded, south-facing rear garden.
On the first floor: the master bedroom, with an en suite toilet, shower, and wash basin. The spacious south-facing lounge has a dining suite, three piece suite and an additional fully sprung double divan sofa bed. From the lounge, large sliding door windows give access to the balcony, from which there are extensive views along Upper Wharfedale and across the River Wharfe to the hills beyond. The separate kitchen, with breakfast bar, is fully fitted with all modern facilities – a complete ‘home from home’.
